The Third Editorial Board Meeting of the Journal of Hepatoma Research Was Held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China

The Third Editorial Board Meeting of the journal Hepatoma Research (HR) was held in Xi'an on September 22, where the participants discussed in particular the future development of the journal and the current popular topics in liver cancer.

Over 18 Editorial Board Members with top academic backgrounds were invited, including Professor Guang-Wen Cao (Vice President, Cancer epidemiology Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association), Editor-in-Chief; Professor Masao Omata (University of Tokyo), Honorary Editor-in-Chief; Professor Kai-Chun Wu (Vice President of Xijing Hospital of Digestive Diseases), Associate Editor; Professor Osamu Yokosuka (Chiba University), Associate Editor; Professor Kenneth Siu Ho Chok (University of Hong Kong), Associate Editor, etc.

Key discussions during the meeting included:

In the afternoon, Professor Guang-Wen Cao, the Editor-in-Chief, held a discussion on the journal development and hot topics in liver cancer. The progress made in the past year has been highly praised by Professor Masao Omata, the Honorary Editor-in-Chief, who expressed his confidence in the promising future of HR.
